During checkout, an error message appeared after entering my billing and shipping information. What should I do?
During checkout, if you reselected a country for your billing or shipping address, it is possible that an item in your cart cannot be shipped to your location. If this is the case, after clicking the “Next” button, instead of proceeding to the “Payment” screen, an error message will appear at the top of the “Address” screen. You will need to go back to the shopping cart and remove any items that cannot be shipped to your chosen country.
Your order detail will be updated accordingly.

    Klarna Pay Later

    Orders at or below CHF1,000 are eligible for Klarna Pay Later. Pay for your online orders in 14 days or more with no additional fees.
    Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email from Klarna detailing how and where to make your payment.

    Klarna Pay Later orders cannot be changed after ordering. If you need to change your order, we will cancel your original order and ask you to place a new order. If you need to return only part of your order, contact cs-mbs@montbell.com. We will initiate a bank transfer to refund the returned portion of your order.

  • Pay-in Slip, Paypal, Bank Wire Transfers, and any other payment methods are not available at this time.

VAT

Montbell Suisse collects and remits VAT for sales within Switzerland. VAT is already included in the price of all products listed on the website.

  • By placing an order with Montbell the customer agrees and gives rights to Montbell to charge duties, taxes, broker fees and customs fees to the customer's credit card if the customer does not pay these fees upon receipt of packages.

For each shipment, an E-mail with parcel tracking numbers will be sent either from Montbell or the Shipping company.

  • Please note that in some cases, these e-mails maybe filtered as spam mail. In such cases, please contact our customer service department;

Backorders / Preorders

Backorders/Preorders are not available at this time.

Cancellations

Once you proceed to checkout, your order will be processed within 1-2 business days.
If you would like to make a cancellation, please contact our customer service department;

  • Please note that in some cases, your order may already be processed and shipped before we are able to cancel.

To cancel an order after receiving the product.
Please use the Return & Exchange Form and follow the Return & Exchange process.

Preparation

  1. Provide a copy of your Receipt (Packing List)
  2. Provide a completed copy of the Return & Exchange Form.
    • If you have lost your Return & Exchange Form, please download the form.
  3. Product(s) must be unused and in its original condition with the hangtags still attached.
  4. Use a prepaid and traceable form of shipping; "Collect On Delivery" returns will not be accepted.
    • If you do not have the original purchase documentation, or if you have any questions regarding the return process, please contact our Customer Service Department cs-mbs@montbell.com.

Gift Bag & Message Card

Add that extra something with a MontBell gift bag! Each gift bag is CHF3.50.

  • Free message card available for customers who select our gift bag service.
  • These 100% cotton bags can be reused.

At Checkout, click on the "GIFT OPTION" button.
You will be able to choose gift bag options and personalize your message card.
